GCO Participates in Training on Quality Report Writing Focusing on SDGs and LNOB
Global Community Organization recently took part in an important training workshop jointly organized by the NGO Affairs Bureau, Prime Minister's Office, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and UNDP.
About the Workshop
Under the ISPAT (Institutional Strengthening of Public Administration and Transparency) project, implemented with support from the Australian Government and UNDP, a two-day training workshop was arranged for representatives of 30 NGOs operating in Rajshahi Division. The training was conducted by the Institute of Professional Training & Management (IPTM).
- Title: Training on Quality Report Writing Focusing on SDGs and LNOB for Smaller NGO's
- Venue: Tourist Motel, Abdul Mojid Road, Rajshahi
- Date: July 11-12, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday), 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Director General (Secretary) Dr. Mohammad Zakaria, NGO Affairs Bureau, Prime Minister's Office, attended as Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Private Secretary Mr. Sharif Ahmed and Administrative Officer Mr. Bahadur Roichur Rahman.
Global Community Organization's Representation
Representing Global Community Organization at this significant training was the organization's Finance Secretary, Jihanur Rahman. Through hands-on sessions, he gained practical knowledge on strategies and techniques for producing quality reports aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the "Leave No One Behind" (LNOB) principle.
Why This Training Matters
The primary objective of this workshop was to strengthen the report-writing capacity of small and medium-sized NGOs. Producing quality reports in line with SDGs and LNOB principles is an essential skill for any development organization today — it ensures transparency and accountability while aligning organizational activities with international standards.
