Our Impact
About the Initiative
Treelancing is a revolutionary initiative by the Global Community Organization that empowers youth — especially students — to earn money without any investment by gifting trees to children enrolled in the One Tree for One Child program.
A pioneer in environmental protection, GCO is turning the social forestry program into a social movement. By involving TYAGI Volunteers as paid Treelancers, we link healthy livelihoods, quality income, and a sustainable environment — all through a single tree gifted to a child.
How It Works
Register as a TYAGI Volunteer
Complete the online registration following the rules and regulations set by GCO. Volunteers who understand all conditions are given final approval.
Define Your Area of Work
Specify your working area — Union, Municipality, Upazila, or City Corporation — including the relevant wards where you will distribute trees.
Set Monthly Target & Work Plan
Declare how many children you will gift trees to each month and follow the work plan set by the organization. Alternative strategies can be proposed for review.
Collect Trees
Trees are either provided by the organization or managed under your own resources — whichever model suits your area and arrangement.
Survey & Register Children
Survey newborn babies and fill the prescribed child registration form through the GCO app — step one of the four-step work report.
Distribute & Plant Trees
Go door-to-door to every registered newborn child and ensure tree distribution and planting at the family's location.

How Points & Payments Work
Payments are made monthly or quarterly depending on the arrangement with the organization. Volunteers track their performance and updates through their account on the GCO app.
