🌾 Ensuring Nutritious Food for the Elderly – A Compassionate Initiative by GCO🌿
Date: 18th May, 2025 Location: Bolihar Village, Bagha Upazila, Rajshahi, Bangladesh
The Global Community Organization (GCO), under its GlobalGiving-approved project titled “Addressing Hunger Among Bangladesh Elderly”, took a significant step toward combating hunger and malnutrition among neglected and vulnerable elderly men and women in rural Bangladesh.
Today, GCO volunteers and staff distributed nutritious food packages to elderly individuals in Bolihar village of Bagha Upazila, Rajshahi, many of whom live without regular support or care. This heartfelt initiative addresses the urgent need for food security and nutritional support among the marginalized elderly population who often remain unseen in our communities.
At GCO, we believe that every human being—regardless of age—deserves to live a healthy, dignified life. Through this program, we strive to create a support system that uplifts our senior citizens, showing them the love, respect, and care they deserve.
🤝 Join Us: Your support can make a real difference. Be a part of this noble mission to restore hope, dignity, and well-being in the lives of our elders.
